Life moves on...

I got the j-o-b. Not the money i was hoping for & no benefits but hey, beggars cant be choosers & its more than I was making before not working. So thats a big weight off my shoulders.
++++++++
my oldest niece is pregnant too. Its an odd situation. If you have access, see the other blog for more details. Im just hoping for the best for all concerned.
+++++++++++
Jeff's on insulin now. He kept it from me almost a week. How do you forcre a 30yo man to take some responsibility for how he eats. Gripes to me about how we need to eat healthier for meals yet continues to munch on potato chips & had some crap ass hot dog from quiktrip yesterday & McD's today. I will NOT be your food police.........
Anyhoo............
++++++++++
Mom's got just a few more months til she can retire. Im so glad. I hate seeing her in pain so much. Hell, I think shes been in pain over half her life. The cards shes been dealt in life arent fair but I guess its what you make of them, we've survived, thats something isn't it?
+++++++++
been having really weird vivid dreams of late, some seem to have underlying tones that i just cant put my finger on. Today was beyond bizarre too. Have been edgy as hell, jumpy, like somethings gonna happen, that something just isnt right with the universe feeling. Took a shower today & had to look out several times, I was afraid someone was in the house, couldnt even sleep in the bedroom today, had to camp out on the couch, where i could see the door. I dont get it.
+++++++++++
Other than the weird incidents, all in al, things are moving along. ok

Woweee

Woww...wow.....it's been a long time since ive posted & I feel neglectful. A lot of things have changed. Xmas & Yule have come & gone & another new year is almost here. I'll be 38 in just a few months. Yuck. Somehow Im not too excited. LOL
My daughtwers will turn 14 & 9 this year as well. Kayla's bday is just weeks away.
Still unemployed, so thats makig things tough. I have an iterview tomorrow morning though, so hoping for the best of luck there. Abigail has already bestowed her good luck charm upon me. it worked last time!
+++++++++++++++++++++
Xmas went well for the girls, they made out like thieves, as usual, but this year was very different. If not for the benefactors that helped us out, there would have been nothing. Between the CL ad & KTUL spotlighting us, things worked out well. I dont know where wed be without the help. Likely homeless.
+++++++++++++++++++++
Weather has been very weird here. 20's one night, 60's the next day. Just weird. I wish itd pick a temp & hang out with it awhile, preferably in the cooler temps too, kill off some of the bug population. We had a horrendous dealing with fleas & ticks this past year. poor cats. Hopefully we have gotten the worst of it under control.
+++++++++++++++++++++
REALLY hoping for thi s job I interview for tomorrow. Its w/ Mortgage Clearing. Back to the field I was working in. I honestly dont care what Ill be doing anymore, as long as im working & getting paid. Unemployment is ok but I want a real job with a real paycheck. Sick of being behind the 8 ball & feeling unproductive.

random rants and ramblings, or workblogging part 92,387,536,776,598

It's been a jumbled up crazy kind of time here in okiemom land.
so last week I went to the courthouse, as I generally do 2x a week for my job, dropping off docs to be recorded & picking up some, etc. I clipped my keys on a carbiner clip I have on my bag. Walk thru the parking lot, thru the courtyard, halfway across the courthouse, treasurers office, clerks office, 2 elevators & back across & down to the garage again. No keys.....
Shit....
I trace my steps over & over, looking under every car I may have passed, the stairs, check in all the surrounding buildings front desks in case they were turned in, had the sheriffs deputy even feeling bad for me. I was stuck.
Finally, after about an hour or more of this, I broke down & called Jeff, who seemed quite annoyed, he fired up the mammoth behemoth & trekked downtown, after borrowing 10. to put in the tank of the beast & came to my rescue. He unlocked the door w/ his key & lo & behold, guess what sat on the front passenger seat?
(insert stupid moment here)
****************************
We have got till Nov to decide to either buy the house we're in (not) or move. We choose to move. We have found the perfect home, it's a mobile home, now to find somewhere to put the damn thing.
4 bedrooms, an office for Jeff, 2 living areas, a HUGE kitchen & pantry, big utility rooms, 3 bathrooms. I'll be in 7th heaven if we get it.
**********************
Anyone remember my huge work dilemma?
It has arisen again. Same job, same company, I finally interviewed, It pays MUCH more than IM making now, so keep your fingers crossed. A few of you know the issues I face @ current job, & how its pretty much dissolved 1 friendship, so all loyalties aside. I'm taking it if it goes thru.

Trip part 1

OK, ok, I'm finally getting with it!

Trip

We started out bright &
early about 4 am. Stopped @ QT for a top off of the tank & filled our mugs & the girls got a drink. They were snoring before we even hit the interstate.(of course Kayla had stayed up all night long....)
All went well til we were nearing Miami, Ok on I-44. It was foggy & still rather dark. We saw a
city type truck & they waved as we passed by. Odd I thought.
Then traffic was slowing down, then slower, slower.....dead standstill. We were sittin
g there for almost 20 minutes when finally Jeff got online via mobile broadband & contacted the Highway Patrol. Seems there was a semi on fire up ahead. Great.......So we sat & sat & sat & sat & sat some more. Eventually , folks were getting out of their cars & gathering to talk on the roadside. We were making sandwiches from the cooler in the trunk & the kids were still snoring away. After almost 2 hours of sitting, we finally started to move.

As we near
ed the Miami exit, the accident revealed itself. Seems a semi pulling a car transport full of new cars hit the concrete barrier in the fog & lost control, it rolled on its side taking the trailer with it, & caught on fire. We never found out the fate of the driver, or if there were any other injuries. Anyone out there knows, it'd be much appreciated.
The rest of the trip goes pretty smooth, various stops for drinks & potty breaks earned Jeff the nickname of Peepot & Abi the name of Peebody.
We made it into Michigan & still burning daylight.Cant imagine how good time we'd have made without the 2 hour stop. We were trucking along pretty good, thinking wed see the
exit we needed for I-196, when Jeff noticed the "Welcome to Kalamazoo County" sign.

Whoops. He'd missed his exit som
e ways back. So we turn around & manage to make it back to our motel we'd reserved.
When we got there, there was a misunderstanding of the price. Seems they
'd jacked their rates. Hmmm, must have something to do with the owner being under house arrest for smuggling illegals in from India. LMFAO
We get to our room & all seems ok til we open the roll away bed. Not o
nly is there a condom wrapper shoved inside it but the mattress is torn & looks like someone wiped their ass across it.
Just a forewarning; don't stay at the Flat River Inn
(Flat River Inn & Suites. Flat River Inn & Suites 1104 West Washington Greenville, MI 48838. Phone: (616)754-3668. )

Other things we encounter are the fact its not too terribly clean & both nights that we stayed, when we awoke in the morning, I had a headache & Jeff felt sick. I also had a throaty cough. Kayla couldn't seem to get woke up for awhile. We're thinking there was a mold issue there as there was evidence of prior water damage in the room. Jeff put a call into the Montcalm health dept. hehehe

So Sunday morning we headed over & grabbed the boys & took off for Holland. There we saw the Nelis Dutch Village & Windmill Island. The kids had a really good time, we plunked down a bit of cash & walked all over. It was fantastic, a little cliche but very quaint. :)

Afterward we went out for Chinese. Mmmmmmmmmmm
After dropping off the boys we went back to the hellhole motel & got everything packed for a very early am departure. We all crashed pretty early.
bright & early we took off, still half asleep for Sault Ste. Marie. Going over the Mackinac bridge was awesome, if a little daunting, 5 mile suspension bridge, longest in the US.

While looking for a bathroom, I noticed a sign near a little rustic restaurant that offer
ed rooms for as low as 20-40. I mentioned it to Jeff & we decided to go inside & check it out. They showed us a room, it was fairly charming, a little outdated, but CLEAN. big priority. We went ahead & reserved a room.

We went on our way & soon came to Sault Ste. Marie, driving around a little we finally found the docks.Jeff went in & bought the tickets for the Soo Locks tour & me & the g
irls took the opportunity to snap a bunch of photos. It was a nice 55 degrees or so at this time.

When he came back, we looked around the shop & office a little & in the gift shop, then went to find food. We found a BK up the way & Abi was determined to save her fries for the Seagu
lls. LOL We wore our BK king crowns while eating too!

To be continued.......

Funny shit & sucky shit & painful shit

Yesterday when I left work, I saw Nancy walking across the lot, so gunned the car like I was gonna nail her. She looked up & ran to the side. I was laughing my ass off. I look back, Arlene has a look of total shock & nancys on the curb holding her chest. OH SHIT! I throw the car in park & go to her to apologize. As I approach her she busts out laughing. Gotcha. UGh, ya bitch.lol I look ahead & my fucking car is rolling by itself towards 71st street, at 5 pm........oh FUCK. I RUNNNNN after it, as fast as a fat girl can run, jerk open the door, only to find miss Debbie behind the wheel. I almost threw her out of the car. How funny. Then ran by Cheri's to get her tax info so I can do her taxes b4 the deadline. Right after leaving, I was about 63/ Yale, I was stopped at a light. Heard screech of tires, started to look back, then heard BANG BANG & Wham. Got hit from behind. Turns out some jerk off going too fast & not paying attention slammed into a van, shoving them into another car, which got shoved into me. Got minor damage to back bumper & now it makes a funky noise , kind of a clunk when im moving, also tailpipe, or something rattles. Fuck. shit. IM sore as hell, back, neck & shoulders fuckign HURT. Have a headache from hell too. The guy behind me had a brand new car, he was on his way to get his tags.....lol, his was BAD, the lady in the back of him, had 2 little girls, miraculously, noone was really hurt much. Her van had the back bumper ripped half off, & front end damage. We say there about 20 min waiting for the cops, no medics ever showed, even th children were involved . grrrrrrrrr. When I was hit, all my papers & shit flew off the dash & visor, throwing my insurance verification somewhere, I couldnt find it anywhere, so by law, I got a ticket for no ins. The guy in the back was cited tho for the accident, basically following too closely, speeding, no ins verification on him(his momy brought it to him-lol) & tags, his were due back in November. Geez. & he was an ORU student. Figures..... I'm still waiting for a call from the fucking ins co, i called them this morning.

Yeah yeah yeah I know.

I've been a bad girl. Been a busy bad girl.
Kids been sick, I've been sick. Trying to get my house in order, spring cleaning is in full swing @ my house too. I'm in a raging full purge mode. Tossing stuff left & right. How can a household accumulate so much crap?
This Sunday Medicine Clan is doing Ostara. I can't wait. I got a lot out of our last gathering, nice to be with community again.
This coming Friday is Mom's 61st Bday. I want to surprise her , so I intend to get home early & get dinner made, plus pick up a cheesecake @ SAMS. Theirs are uber-awesome. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm (drool).Tomorrow the girls are coming up to work after school to stuff Easter eggs for our office monthly charity & also to help Kendall out w/ her BACA project for Laura Dester shelter. It will be a good thing for the girls to do plus earns Kayla a few hours for her yearly community service she does @ school. This weekend is more cleaning, organizing. I'm tackling the back yard & shed. yuck.
Then NEXT Friday is Ostara @ Chandler w/ Gloria. Cant wait for that one, I'm also gonna give Lee a ride to that.
Then Sat is the moon @ Owen park, I'm supposed to be leading that, not sure if I'm doing it or not as I haven't gotten much feedback from Marc. Hell, I haven't heard from him for a month now. Need to get that site moved as well. Bleh. At some point, I want to make it down to the river too, also get to the gym at least 2x this coming week.
Just been soooooooooooooooo busy.
Diets going good, Down 2 more pounds, sinned a little today, but back on the wagon tomorrow. I feel much better when I eat well. Body just feels cleaner.
We're looking for a new couch too. The one we have was nice at one time. It is a large sectional, tan in color, microfiber, 2 incliner's, fold out bed & all. Mom paid about 1500. for it.Nice....at one time. When I moved out of my home, during my divorce, the ex moved in w/ his girlfriend & moved his trashy brother in the house. Well, when i saw the couch again(when they were gonna throw it to the curb), it looked like it had been rubbed din the dirt. it was filthy, almost black in spots, had cat scratches & some cigarette burns on it. Disgusting. I went ahead & took it, scrubbed & scrubbed it. Found out some of the springs for the bed were gone, the pieces that attached it together were gone, & some places were rubbed the fabric off, the cushion zipper was busted on 2 cushions, & other stuff. i was so pissed. they lived there about 5 months before the house was foreclosed on-since he didn't make the payments like he said he was going to......Oh well.
We looked at several today, we think we found one we like, going back tomorrow to close the deal. :)

By Goddess, I must be insane!

So last week my daughter turned 13, today is her sleepover party. She had 4 friends over, 3 showed up. How in the hell can 4 little girls sound like 40?
Oh. My. GODDESS!. They are so loud. Sooo hyper...
I cant remember being like this at their age. My mom just looked at me really strange when I asked her about it. LOL
Theyre in there playing online right now, plans later to stay up & play on the Xbox, gamecube or PS2, whatever. They had personal pizzas, cale ice cream & pop. Hmmmm.....lots of sugar there. oh shit.
Her previously clean room is trashed. She'll have fun cleaning that up!
So I must be crazy right?

Ducks & geese & trash , Oh my!

I went back to visit my ducks & geese friends today. As I walked out there, armed with a trash bag, a bag of lentils & a small satchel of ritual supplies, I felt the peace I had felt before returning almost instantly. The ducks & geese were there, as were a few visitors. 2 men sat talking up a ways from where my 'space' was. I just smiled 7 went on about my business. As I approached the birds started to move towards the water, until I tossed a handful of lentils t them. Quacks & honking & mass feeding ensued. So I sat down on the steps leading to the water & tossed a few more handfuls. Some of the mallards got braver & I eventually had them eating from my hand! beautiful birds, bright greens, blues & purples in their feathers & such orange webby feet. beautiful.

So I went on down to my place I sat before, on the rocks before the water, continuing to feed them. They seem to have accepted my presence as non harmful. :o)

After I had tossed all the feed I had, I pulled out my supplies, reaffirmed my pentagram I had traced in the sand earlier, drove a crystal in the center & buried a stone at the 4 cardinal points. I also burned some incense as I invited the elements to that location. As I called each one, I could feel the strength of those elements there with me. After I was done, i gathered as much trash as I could get in the bag & disposed of it properly. Never ceases to amaze me what nasty creatures humans can be, no thought at all how their littering ways can harm Earths creatures.

When i was done, I wrote in the sand, "Earth where we came from, Earth where we'll go, Welcome as you welcomed us long ago" My next trip out, I'm taking the girls for some more cleanup & feeding. Soon they ll recognize us all. I also hope to have that entire stretch cleaned up soon. I plan on warding the area, so no more littering will occur & also for the safety of the flock.

Peace & geese

Got off a bit early today after leaving the courthouse, so I took the time to go down to the river for a bit, needed some time to ground some energy & just relax a bit.

I go down to a nice little area near 21st street where you can get right down to the water. There was a nice place to sit & watch the water go by. Theres also a small beack, or riverbank actually. But its sandy(muddy) & some large rocks there. it is also occupied by about 50-60 Canadian geese & Mallard ducks. beautiful creatures. I sat there a long time watching them swim & play & chase each other. I felt my stresses slipping away & my sadness that i had been feeling floating away as well. I wandered down to the riverbank beach & sat on a large rock, my feet about 2 or 3 feet from the water lapping at the edges. The geese never flew away or acted scared. I talked to them softly. I also drew a large banishing pentacle in the sand to ward off all neativity from the area so they can keep living there in peace. Theres a nice flat area that would be wonderful for doing spelwork & its fairly secluded but accessible. I think I found my nature spot. I will be going back. Next time Ill go armed with trash bags to clean up some of the litter I saw in the area, I'll also take food for the geese & ducks as an offering. May take some things & do spellwork as well.

it was so peaceful there. perfect spot. I could feel all the elements there. I felt the sun shining down warm on me, the wind blowing thru my hair, the water lapping at my feet & the sandy earth beneath my toes. I also found spirit. Spirit in those beautiful birds.

'tis the Season to be puking....

twas the night before new years
& all thru the house
not a creature wasn't puking
ahhh hell, forget it.
Both girls are sick, Kayla has a monster toothache, she had dental work on Thursday & they were attempting to build up a bad tooth she has, well, they failed, they're saying she needs a root canal now, shit, I don't think she can take any more pain. Shes been doped on darvocet & codeine all weekend but still hurting.
Abigail has some stomach bug or something. no clue yet. I never rush to Dr's unless it doesn't pass soon or home remedies dint relieve it, unless its something serious. I think the human body has an amazing way of healing itself & ANTIBIOTICS ARE OVERUSED & OVERRATED.

I had plans to go out to a friends & party a little for NY Eve. Ah well, not really in the mood, Jeff's trying to figure out whats up w/ the vonage box, as out phones are down for some weird reason.
Work was boring, every other company in the free world that we work with was closed, so our being open was pointless. Oh well, easy $ right?

^$%*%$(*&Y(*&^& Cox!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, after all that time without power & cable & internet, we came up on Sat morning, cable came back up that afternoon. Well.............long about midnight, cable pops off 2 or 3 times, then goes right back down, it was the cable, & our business internet aount which Jeff runs his servers & web hosting off of. (steaming....) We tried to contact Cox, as we were a business account & get a higher priority than resiential.(pay for it too!)
NOPE....you get a shitty voice automated phone service which eventually takes you to an overflow call center. Ok, I know theres a high demand right now, but there still should be a way to reach tech support, that was ridiculous. We called no less than 6 times, each time promised a call back to no avail. Idiots wanted us to give a call back number, Ummmmmmmmmmmm, our internet & data lines are down, we HAVE NO PHONES! Morons...

Back from the frozen tundra......

Well, we have power finally, 6 days without really makes you think & contemplate on how much you take for granted & whats really important. Like heat....& light.Last 2 days were COLDDDDD, but apparently not cold enough to keep the food in the fridge & freezer cold & frozen. Sigh....we'd just stocked up to & its all got to be thrown out. Oh well, right? Most streets are cleared, still some branches on some of the smaller streets though, branches & uprooted & broken trees everywhere. It was beautiful til the trees started crashing. We miraculously did not have any house damage or damage to the power lines to our house. Phones are up now, as is internet & cable. The heater sounded beautiful kicking on!

Very interesting how much you learn about yourself & your family with no tv, no games, no internet. We all slept in the living room, close together, huddled during the evening by candlelight & talked, told stories, me & my older daughter made plans for Yule. By day, we cooked as much of the rapidly thawing food that we could & ate lukewarm by candlelight. thank the Goddess we have a gas range & hot water tank! We boiled water on the stove top to help heat the house & ran the burners. Also lit about 20 candles on the coffee table. (Jeff joked we could have a seance!). It was a calm time, we went to bed early & I likely got more sleep than in a long time. I read books, looked at catalogs, worked on crafts, our 5 cats entertained us too. I too was saddened by the poor trees broken & laying open, naked almost everywhere I look. I cried for the large magnolia next to me. We went out today & found a nice log to use for a Yule log. On our return, the porch light was on! What joy! We yelled & danced theu the house!Tonight its back to normal, but we grew closer during this time.
Check out some photos.

Day 5 of no electricity......We're still alive, havent froze to death yet, tho tonight may be the kicker where we wake up as popsicles. Supposed to rain some more tnonight & turn into snow as the morning comes. Pray for us. Really. We need it. Keep hoping we'll get home & it will be on, but no such luck. We're surviving by boiling water on the gas stove top(thank god for that!). It seems to dissipate the heat better in the house. Wasnt so bad when i was home all day (mon-wed had no power @ work) but not getting any heat going ti 5:30 blows. All food in the fridge & freezer is a total loss, had a lot of meat in there......
We have no generator, & down to 1 flashlight. Jeff charges up the backupbattery pack for the servers at work by day & we get limited light or a short bit of tv, its a little slice of heaven & civilization. You cant get ice, batteries, flashlights, blankets, anything of the like in local stores, we'd have to travel almost to Siloam Springs for them. It sucks really. Buit Ive gotten some good of it, Ive spent some quality time w/ my kids & Ive gotten more sleep than ever.

What a weekend.

What a weekend.

Only worked 2 days last week. That part was nice. LOL, & got paid for all 5, even nicer. However......Thursday, official Thanksgiving, we spent at the meeting, as previously noted, that evening was quiet & calm. Friday I worked in My youngests' room, cleaning, purging no longer needed toys, no longer fitting clothes, gathered up 2 bags for Freecycle. rearranged stuff, hung pictures & her awards from school up, & some butterflies Id been keeping for her. Room really looks cute & comfy now. If only she could keep it clean......
Saturday, I spent the day in my eldest's room, doing the same. I was exhausted by days end, Sunday was our big dinner, as some of us are invariably having to work on thanksgiving day. Oh my, did Mom ever outdo herself. She REALLY gets into the cooking part. No wonder I'm fat.LOL
We only had 8 people there, but there was -& still is- enough food for 30!
I'm sure I will be really sick of turkey before it is over. After dinner was over & company had departed, I realized one of our kitties, the Terrorist Kitty himself, was nowhere to be found. Oh shit.
We looked in closets, under beds, in cabinets, in the attic, furnace closet, anywhere you could imagine. No Terrorist Kitty. We grabbed a flashlight & ventured out in the rain, my eldest & I, calling & searching, to no avail.:( Terrorist Kitty was nowhere to be seen. I was going to make another pass in the attic, sat down to talk to Mom for a few & out of the corner of my eye, saw movement. There sat the little shit on the table, calmly licking leftover gravy.......I wanted to choke him. Instead I grabbed him & hugged him. I still have no clue where he managed to hide but I don't care. He wasn't lost outside in the rain & cold. :)
So I deposited him in my daughters hands & went to get ready for bed, already almost 1:30 AM. Bleh. Suddenly a knock on my door, "Mama, come here quick!"
I rush out to see whats wrong & the lights are all off & everyone is gathered by the front door. What in the world?
I peer out & there, on the porch is the biggest, fattest possum I have seen. It was HUGE. Looking for dinner I guess (REALLY glad now Kitty wasn't outside!). He finally wondered off the porch & I went around the side of the house to make sure the trash was secured. Sure enough, it was there, about to tear in. Uh-Uh! No you don't! I stomped my foot & made a hissing sound & that fat little possum ran like hell. LOL
I grabbed the loose bag of trash & moved it higher then walked back inside. How funny.
SO that was my weekend.
Now today, here I sit, workblogging, braindead as hell. Must be something in the air, as everyone in this office is drag-assing around & sluggish. I think I just need caffeine to be injected intravenously & I'll be OK.

A-ha!

I've found the solution to the floor problem. Ok so the long term solution is sanding & refinishing the floors. However, we need to be out of the house for some I'm & cant walk on it til its dried, 2 or 3 coats of stain & finish. Ok so that sucks.
Sooooo I'm gonna paint it, gonna get a can of a darkish brown floor paint & paint it. When we're ready to sand, it will come up anyway. Who knows, i may like it better.
So that's my brilliant solution.

I hurt.....and carpet sucks

So damned sore. Ice King is kinda pissed off I pulled up the carpet. the floor looks bad......gonna need a lot of work . Its gonna have to be scrubbed, maybe by hand, mopped, sanded, possibly stained & then finished. UGH, the whole FM/CFS shit is kicking my ass right now too, just wanna lie down & sleep a bit.

meanwhile Terorist Kitty is having a ball. He keeps craling under the padding as I pull it up & tries to go to sleep. Apparently he thinks being cute now makes up for this mornings toilet paper shredding incident. hmmmm...he is kinda cute...

Yawnnnnnnnnnn

I am sooooo tired. This whole time change bullshit sucks. I love feeling like IM sleeping in , in the mornings, but the day draggggggggggggggggs so bad , especially in the afternoon. Yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
I need to get outside this weekend, but have TONS to do before Ice King's mom & step dad come down. Sigh............in-laws................ Need I say more?
Hopefully it won't be too bad. Theyre scheduled to be here on Sunday, I.K. has his surgery on Monday, then they leave on Tuesday. I can run away tuesday but will be at the mercy on sun & monday. Have sooooo much to do, need to get the entire house cleaned from top to bottom, work on a few projects there, We're going to rip the carpet up in the liv room & expose the hardwood floors. hopefully theyre not in terrible shape. No clue whats waiting for us, but its got to be better than the carpet thats there now. Gonna muck out the girls' rooms too, theyre scary.....remember my Pit of Death post? All over again. When we painted, I never got their rooms re-organized so they're toal messes now. Wheeeeeee
I cant say much tho, our room isnt much better, especially since our closet threw up all over the bedroom.......
Well, thats a little drastic, actually the cat did it, yes you heard me right, the cat killed the closet. The closet cieiling anyway, he found a way to access the attic one night & the attic stairs(which inhabit our room) descended on their own (so we thought) one night. I almost peed the bed! The cat rode the stairs down! Then a few nights later, he got into the closet, we hadnt seen him all day, apparently he found a way into the attic yet again, this time he brought part of the closet ceiling down. Now we have this nice big open hole to our attic & the air coming off it is like a refrigerator. But hey, it saves on the A/c bill right?

All's Quiet

On the Okie front. it's been pretty peaceful. I pray for the best. :-)
Girls are home this weekend & my niece & nephew in law, (who are expecting their 1st child) are staying the weekend as well. This is Bb's younger daughter, who stayed behind in order to finish up her education. I think they're gonna make great parents & I'm excited for them. Scared too, as this is her very first.With luck, all goes well & we'll soon have a new little one amongst us. Shes due in May.
