So I raced for the cure today. Or to put it more accurately My fat butt walked for the cure.
Our company pays or this each year but I would do it anyway. I have 3 survivirs in my life so far. I probally know more, but they just arent vocal about it. The ice King's mother is a survivor, my stepson's aunt is a survivor & one of the ladies @ the office is a survivor. it's a great cause & It was a great time of fun, friends & knowing we were doing something great.
I'm willing to bet about 10,000 people were out there. it's only a small percentage of our population but an amazing turnout of friends, husbands, children, mothers, fathers, cousins & partners of those affected by this awful disease. I am thrilled to have been a part of it & can't wait to do it again next year. next year, Im doing the 5K.
